Planning for Your Visit:
Parents attending Firefighter Guided Tours
- Bring your driver's license for check in.
- No food or drink allowed (except water).
- Plan to arrive at your scheduled time.
- The tour lasts 30-45 minutes.
- You will have a chance to walk through our village. Bike and jeep rides are not included.
- You will be able to browse our store for FFD apparel and souvenir items.
- Visit our Parking Page to be familiar with our facility entrance and parking locations. Enter off of Main Street.

Parents of students attending School Study Trips
- Bring your driver's license for check in.
- Wear closed-toe shoes.
- No food or drink allowed (except water).
- Plan to arrive at 9:20 a.m. for the morning program (class starts at 9:30).
- Plan to arrive at 11:50 a.m. for the afternoon program (class starts at 12:00).
- Visit our Parking Page to be familiar with our facility entrance and parking locations.
- Do NOT drive across the emergency vehicle driveway when entering or exiting the parking lot.
- Cell phones and cameras are permitted; however, parents assisting with ride time will need to put those items away. Photo opportunities will be provided. If you plan to take photos/video during ride time, please stay on the patio and sidewalks.
- Please send your child in PE attire and closed-toe shoes. Dress for weather and outdoor activities.
- All second through fifth grade students will ride bikes. Please avoid high ponytails, large bows or other hairstyles that may interfere with the proper fitting of a bike helmet. A properly fitting helmet is required.
- Kinder and First grade students will drive jeeps. All students will be given the opportunity to drive; however, if a child feels uncomfortable driving and chooses not to, he/she can be a passenger with another student. Parents are needed to assist with traffic control. We highly encourage parents to attend to assist with this activity.

Parents attending a Homeschool Programs (Feb/Mar 2024)
- NEW Scheduling model. Each family will register individually for Homeschool dates.
- Bring your driver's license for check in.
- No food or drink allowed (except water).
- It's extremely important all those attending know the arrival time and plan to be on time, so no one misses the educational portion of the program.
- All students will need to have closed-toe shoes to be able to ride.
- You may bring your own bike helmet (but know that we also supply them).
- Please avoid high ponytails, large bows or other hairstyles that interfere with the proper fitting of a bike helmet. A properly fitting helmet is required.
- We do provide bikes. No outside bikes allowed.
