Resident Clowns

Meet the Frisco Fire Clowns - Skwert, Red, Bellz, Smokey, Blaze and Pumper

Due to COVID-19 the 2020 Fire Prevention Clown Show will be offered virtually (
pre-recorded) for all on-campus and virtual academy students in Frisco ISD as well as private elementary schools and home school groups within the city limits of Frisco. The video presentation will run approximately thirty (30) minutes.

After you watch the show, take the Honorary Deputy Quiz.

Watch our 2020 Clown Show and more on the City of Frisco's YouTube channel.

The clowns train very hard to teach safety lessons - and even become students themselves every year at a Clown College. Once Frisco Fire Safety Town opened, Skwert, Red, Bellz, Smokey, Blaze and Pumper all moved in, and now call Safety Town their home. You may see them at local parades and special events. When you do, be sure to stop by and tell them hello.

Fire Education Programs

The Frisco Fire Department's Clowns specialize in Fire Safety Education. Each October they visit all elementary schools in Frisco for Fire Prevention Month. Clown appearances are reserved only for City of Frisco-sponsored events and FISD visits during Fire Prevention Month.

October Program Registration

Virtual Clown Show online registration starts September 18th.  For other questions contact Leslie Girdner, Community Education Coordinator at 972-292-6352.
