1. What grade levels does Frisco ISD require to visit Frisco Fire Safety Town?

Kindergarten, First grade and Fourth grade. However, other grade levels can schedule as we do offer curriculum for all levels.

2. Can an FISD group use a time slot that is labeled Other District?

YES!  Any FISD school can use an Other District time slot;  (However, no out of district group can use a slot that is NOT labeled as Other District.)

Also- the Other District dates are labeled as such due to the fact that Frisco Transportation has listed these dates as limited or no buses.  FISD teachers should check for bus availability immediately if choosing an Other District timeslot. 

If you register and later learn you cannot get a bus, use the cancellation link in your original confirmation email to cancel. 

3. Will my class be grouped with another school during the program?

Yes.  Frisco ISD classes only will be allowed to register a single class (25 kids) in a timeslot with another (FISD) single class (of 25 kids.)  This will allow more available time slots for those seeking to register single classes. 

4. Will you continue to do the standard classroom program option followed by outdoor ride time for the 2022-2023 school year?

We are currently conducting face-to-face instruction in the classroom followed by ride time outdoors. 

 

5. What if it rains during our study trip?

We make every effort to get the kiddos into the village for ride time; however, should we have inclement weather during your visit, we do have alternate activities we can do indoors.  

6. How do non-FISD schools register?

Please visit our Out-of-District Information page for more details about the registration process for non-FISD schools. Homeschool groups should visit the Home School page for dates specific to these groups.

7. Will there be a virtual option for virtual students?

No, we do not have virtual programs this year. 

8. Can Other Districts use a timeslot that is NOT labeled Other District?

Non-Frisco ISD groups should utilize only the timeslots labeled Other District.
